Guitar lessons

Isaac is the current classical guitar instructor at Cornell, but also teaches private lessons throughout the Ithaca community.

He has years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels in numerous styles including classical, rock/pop, folk/finger-style and jazz. He has also taught classes in music theory and song writing.

Isaac's teaching philosophy is to cater lessons to the individual student with the understanding that skill level, musical aspirations and availability of practice time can vary a great deal from student to student. So whether you just got a guitar for your birthday and don't know where to begin, or if you are a proficient musician looking to hone your technique, music theory knowledge or simply broaden your musical horizons, Isaac can find a way to make lessons fun, engaging and productive.

Rates for private instruction:

$30/half-hour, $40/45-min, $50/hour
